Spring weather conditions carry on but some places will be hotter and drier over the week ahead, despite polar changes still brushing the country, especially southern NZ.
Rain will be heaviest on the West Coast with over 300mm forecast in the southern half of the region over the next week and a half. Driest will likely be the eastern North Island between Gisborne and Napier, along with other eastern and very northern parts of New Zealand.
We have your Labour Weekend forecast too – and while not locked in at this early stage (especially with all the spring chaos around at the moment) we are currently forecasting a high pressure zone into NZ. We’ll be able to confirm that with more certainty one way or the other by early next week.
+ We have NZ’s 10 day rainfall map.
Have a great weekend!
