Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Mostly sunny, a chance of some cloud morning and night about Waikato. Some cloud may build about inland areas this afternoon. Light winds in the morning then afternoon sea breezes.
Highs: 20-23

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Mostly sunny, light winds tend to the west this afternoon.
Highs: 18-23

Eastern North Island
Sunny, light winds tend east to northeast this afternoon.
Highs: 20-24

Wellington
A mix of sun and cloud, northerly winds.
High: 18

Marlborough & Nelson
Mainly sunny. North to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 20-26

Canterbury
Mostly sunny with some high cloud, afternoon easterlies.
Highs: 22-24

West Coast
Cloudy about Fiordland today with some rain, further north expect mostly sunny weather with some high cloud. Northwesterly winds.
Highs: 15-22

Southland & Otago
Sunny areas and increasing high cloud, a few spots of rain or a shower possible after dark. North to northwesterly winds for most however tending easterly about coastal Otago.
Highs: 20-26
