Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Sunny with southerly winds.
Highs: 13-15

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Mostly cloudy with a few showers, long dry spells also. Showers clearing in the evening. Cool southerly winds.
Highs: 7-12

Eastern North Island
Cloudy with occasional showers, a few snow flurries to 600m. Fresh cold southwesterly winds.
Highs: 11-12

Wellington
Mostly cloudy, a shower or two at times throughout the day. Cold southerly winds.
High: 10

Marlborough & Nelson
Sunny with light winds.
Highs: 10-12

Canterbury
Sunny spells gradually increasing from morning, southwesterly winds ease and die out in the evening.
Highs: 7-9

West Coast
Sunny with light winds.
Highs: 9-11

Southland & Otago
Sunny with light winds, a frosty start especially inland. There may be some cloud hanging about coastal fringes.
Highs: 6-9
