A cold southwesterly airflow continues to blow over New Zealand today.

Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Mostly cloudy with a shower or two, more so in the west. Drier conditions further east, about the Bay Of Plenty for example. West to southwesterly winds.
Highs: 13-16

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Some morning sun possible otherwise expect mostly cloudy skies with a shower or two during the day. Breezy westerly winds, brisk about Taranaki.
Highs: 10-14

Eastern North Island
Mainly sunny with westerly winds, some cloud about the Wairarapa from afternoon and perhaps further north in the evening bringing the risk of a shower otherwise mainly dry.
Highs: 15-17

Wellington
Some cloud, chance of a shower late afternoon as northwesterly winds change southerly.
High: 14

Marlborough & Nelson
Mostly sunny, some cloud late afternoon / evening. Light west to southwesterly winds.
Highs: 16-17

Canterbury
Early sun then cloud increases bringing the risk of a shower or two, southwesterly winds freshen.
Highs: 12-14

West Coast
Mostly cloudy, a few showers about Fiordland and also Buller then spreading elsewhere late afternoon or evening. Cool southwesterly winds.
Highs: 10-12

Southland & Otago
A few showers, clearing in the evening. West to southwesterly winds.
Highs: 12-13
