Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Northland has showers or some rain for much of the day. Mostly cloudy about Auckland, chance of a shower or two otherwise mainly dry. Morning cloud breaks to sunny spells in the afternoon about the Waikato and Bay Of Plenty. Freshening easterly winds.
Highs: 16-17

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Any morning low level cloud or fog clears then mainly sunny with some high cloud, light winds.
Highs: 13-16

Eastern North Island
Morning low cloud or fog breaks to sunny spells, there may be some morning drizzle about Gisborne also. Light east to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 14-15

Wellington
Sunny with light northerlies.
High: 14

Marlborough & Nelson
Any early cloud clears then mainly sunny with light winds.
Highs: 13-15

Canterbury
Mainly sunny with light winds.
High: 12

West Coast
Morning cloud with the chance of a drizzle patch, afternoon sunny spells. Light winds.
Highs: 13-14

Southland & Otago
Mainly sunny with light winds.
Highs: 8-12
