A high is centred east of the country today pushing a northeasterly airflow over New Zealand. Mainly settled, although fairly cloudy about Northland with the odd light shower in the east.

Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
A mix of sun and cloud with northeasterly winds, a chance of fog to start the day for inland areas. Northland is mainly cloudy with the odd shower about eastern parts, winds are also breezier.
Highs: 15-17
 
Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Mostly sunny with some high cloud, east to northeast winds.
Highs: 12-16
 
Eastern North Island
Morning cloud breaks to sunny areas. Cloud may hang onto Gisborne for a bit longer in the day. Northeast winds.
Highs: 14-15
 
Wellington
Sunny with light winds.
High: 15
 
Marlborough & Nelson
Mostly sunny with light winds, any morning cloud breaks away.
Highs: 13-14
 
Canterbury
Mainly sunny with light east to northeast winds. There may be a touch of morning cloud, any of which breaks away.
Highs: 11-13
 
West Coast
Mainly sunny with light east to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 13-14
 
Southland & Otago
Mainly sunny weather with light east to northeast winds.
Highs: 10-12
