Tuesday’s national forecast

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Tuesday sees more high pressure dominating the North Island but a weakening front heading into the upper South Island, mainly on the West Coast. A few showers may then be triggered around Nelson, Marlborough – and to a lower extent Wellington and Wairarapa – at the end of the day.  Canterbury may also see a few spits of rain or an isolated shower, mostly in the north to north west region of the region – and as spillover from the west.
