It was a wintry night for much of New Zealand and for some of us Tuesday is looking bleak as well.
How were the conditions near you last night and is this morning much better or worse?
Dunedin has been hit by snow and other areas such as parts of Auckland and Wellington have seen a rough night with all sorts of weather taking place.
Christchurch is very cold and waiting for some sleety/snowy showers possibly later today.
Please let us know what’s happening in your neck of the woods because the coldest day for the nation as a whole for 2013 has arrived.

Cold wind in Invers but more blue sky now – Stewart Island seems to do a good job at flicking the worst to the east and west of the city in these sort of SW events…

Been raining on and off late las tnight in dargaville, had a few and far between rumbles of thunder with a couple of bright bolts of lightnings as well, showers are coming and going with hail imbedded, so dull and bleak this weather.
