Dont we get the minimum and maximums,has metservice topped gving them?As not necessarily the lowest and highest on this set.

Comes down to $$ and unfortunately the government in the 90s decided money is more important in this country.

Suggest you rank them from highest to lowest maximum temperatures.

Hi Red Deer, thanks for the suggestion. The reason why we list them this way is so that people can see their particular town quickly as it is listed geographically. Having them highest to lowest means people have to read through the entire list to find their main centre.
We’re hoping to changing the way we display these highs this year – placing them on a map for quicker reference.
