Our current anticyclone is slowly moving away to the east and today will have its centre just east of the North Island. Sunny weather is on the cards for most, some drizzle is expected about Fiordland however and parts of the Bay Of Plenty could see a drizzle patch or two this morning also.
Northland, Auckland, Waikato, CNI & BOP
Mostly sunny skies with north to northeasterly breezes, any morning cloud clears then there may be a few small clouds floating about during the day. Some Bay Of Plenty areas could expect cloudy skies to start this morning with a risk of a drizzle patch or two, sunny breaks then develop in the afternoon.
Highs: 25-26
