Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Mostly cloudy with a shower or two, some sun may break through at times. Northwesterly winds.
Highs: 10-15

Eastern North Island
Early high cloud clears then sunny and warm with light northwesterly winds.
Highs: 16-18

Wellington
Mostly sunny with northwesterly winds, easing in the evening.
High: 14

Marlborough & Nelson
Any morning high cloud clears away then sunny, northwesterly winds.
Highs: 14-16

Canterbury
Morning high cloud clears then sunny with light winds tending north to northeast in the afternoon.

West Coast
Early rain eases to showers, showers ease during the day and some sun may break through at times from afternoon. Becoming mainly dry in the evening although a shower or two is still possible. Westerlies.
