Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Some morning fog then mostly sunny weather with south to southeasterly winds, chance of an isolated shower late afternoon / evening otherwise mainly dry.
Highs: 16-17

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Morning showers then sun breaks through, southeasterly winds.
Highs: 15-17

Eastern North Island
Cloudy with patchy rain or showers, south to southeasterly winds.
Highs: 15-16

Wellington
Patchy rain or showers, easing during the day and clearing late evening / overnight. Southeasterly winds.
High: 14

Marlborough & Nelson
Mostly cloudy with a few patchy showers about Marlborough, Nelson may see a morning shower then sunny areas develop in the afternoon. South to southeasterly winds.
Highs: 14-17

Canterbury
Mostly cloudy north of Banks Peninsula, cloud to the south breaks then expect a mostly sunny afternoon. Light winds tend northeasterly in the afternoon.
Highs: 12-13

West Coast
Mostly sunny, some high cloud. Light winds.

Southland & Otago
Any morning cloud breaks then expect sunny areas and some high cloud, north to northeasterly winds.
