Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Mostly sunny with southerly winds.
Highs: 23-25

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Early showers clear then becoming mostly sunny, south to southeasterly winds.
Highs: 16-19

Eastern North Island
A few showers, clearing early afternoon then sunny spells increase, fresh south to southwesterly winds ease later in the day.
Highs: 17-20

Wellington
Any morning showers clear then sunny spells increase, fresh southerlies ease in the evening.
High: 15-16

Marlborough & Nelson
Any morning cloud clears Marlborough then sunny with afternoon easterlies. A sunny day for Nelson, afternoon northerlies.
Highs: 19-20

Canterbury
Mostly sunny after any early cloud clears, cloud and the odd shower about Banks Peninsula breaks away in the afternoon. South to southwesterly winds ease dying out in the evening.
Highs: 14-16

West Coast
Sunny with light winds tending westerly in the afternoon.
Highs: 16-21

Southland & Otago
A few morning showers about Southland and coastal Otago then sunny areas develop from afternoon, breezy west to southwesterly winds ease later in the day. Sunnier conditions about Central Otago with light winds.
Highs: 13-16
