An anticyclone covers most of New Zealand today bringing mainly settled weather.

Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Sunny with light winds. Chance of some fog at night for inland areas.
Highs: 13-16

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Mostly sunny with light winds, some cloud about coastal Taranaki at times.
Highs: 10-14

Eastern North Island
Some morning sun then cloud thickens up in the afternoon bringing a shower or two, clearing in the evening. Southwesterlies tend southerly around midday.
Highs: 11-14

Wellington
A mix of sun and cloud with light south to southeasterly winds.
High: 12

Marlborough & Nelson
Mainly sunny for Marlborough, cloud at times about Nelson. Some cloud may spread into Marlborough in the evening. Winds are light.
Highs: 10-13

Canterbury
Mostly sunny with afternoon east to northeast winds, there may be some evening cloud Banks Peninsula northwards.
Highs: 9-11

West Coast
Mostly sunny with light east to northeast winds, there may be some coastal cloud at times.
Highs: 10-13

Southland & Otago
Mainly sunny, some evening cloud possible about coastal Otago. East to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 7-10
