Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Morning sun then isolated showers develop in the afternoon, chance of an isolated heavy fall. Light east to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 22-23

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Morning showers then afternoon rain, light winds tending breezy southeast about southwestern coastlines from afternoon.
Highs: 18-20

Eastern North Island
Showers for the Wairarapa, dry further north with mostly sunny weather however light winds tend southeasterly in the afternoon bringing increasing cloud then evening showers.
Highs: 17-24

Wellington
Rain with fresh cool southerlies.
High: 15

Marlborough & Nelson
Rain with fresh east to southeasterly winds.
Highs: 15-17

Canterbury
Morning rain eases to the odd shower, fresh cool southwesterly winds ease later in the day.
Highs: 10-13

West Coast
Any morning showers clear then mostly sunny with southeasterly breezes.
Highs: 15-17

Southland & Otago
Morning rain eases to a few showers, cool southerly breezes.
Highs: 11-13
