Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Cloudy areas and the odd shower, some sun possible. Some rain about northern parts of Northland may be heavy at times. Overnight rain spreads southwards to Auckland. Northeasterly winds.
Highs: 23-25

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Sunny areas and some high cloud, a shower or two may spread into Taranaki later in the evening / overnight. Light northeasterly winds.
Highs: 23-27

Eastern North Island
Sunny areas and some high cloud, northeasterly winds.
Highs: 24-25

Wellington
Sunny areas and some cloud, light northerlies.
High: 23

Marlborough & Nelson
Any morning cloud breaks to sunny areas and some high cloud, north to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 23-25

Canterbury
Areas of cloud and a few sunny spells, chance of a shower about South Canterbury later in the afternoon. Northeasterly winds.
Highs: 23-26

West Coast
Some rain, chance of a heavy fall more so about South Westland. North Westland may even see sunny breaks in the afternoon. Northeasterly winds.
Highs: 21-24

Southland & Otago
A dry morning then areas of rain from midday, light east to northeast winds.
Highs: 21-24
