An anticyclone is mostly in control again today although cloud still surrounds some of our coastlines. Auckland northwards sees mostly cloudy skies and freshening easterly winds, there odd patchy shower is even possible more so about Northland.

northeast winds, freshening a little in the afternoon about the Waikato.
