The weekend continues – Your Main Centre outlook on Monday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

The weekend’s weather looks set to continue into the new week – as light winds, dry spells and sunny conditions dominate for many.

The “high pressure sandwich” we talked about last week is still with us this week – though it has now moved further north to cover the North Island.
Morning cloud looks set to burn away and leave hot and sunny afternoons for many.

Main Centres

Auckland

Warm and sunny in Auckland, with some cloudy patches here and there to mix things up – and temperatures in the mid to late 20s.

Wellington

The capital looks sunny and clear too, though light westerlies blow through the day, along with a high in the early 20s.

Christchurch

A mix of sun and cloud, but mostly fine in Christchurch – with light winds lowering recent high temperatures into the early to mid 20s region.
