What a day. Across New Zealand many regions are sunny and warm – although the breeze may still be a bit cool for some areas.  But take a look at the current temperature map of New Zealand – compared to early Wednesday afternoon when we captured the cold change.

The heat will continue to build into Saturday. Many areas will reach the low 20s – and some, like Marlborough, may be closer to 30 degrees.
