The sun and spring return

> From the WeatherWatch archives

After a very unseasonal period, the weather is set to brighten and the sun will dry out some very sodden areas today.
Not only has it been wet over much of the country, but also very cold with snow levels down to remarkably low levels for the time of year.
Some folk along the west coast of the mainland have been wondering what the fuss has been about, as the sun has been shining for much of the week. However the next few days aren’t looking quite so rosy, with some cloud and rain expected to drift in.

Temperatures are expected to be on the rise today, as the sun makes an appearance across the country but tonight is likely to be very cool.
