The East Coast of the North Island has seen flooding and heavy rainfall ease into Tuesday, with Marlborough, North Canterbury and southern Wairarapa bearing the brunt of the day’s falls.
Over the next day or so the system will bring falls back northwards, affecting Wairarapa and Hawke’s Bay – while the bottom of the South Island is looking dry – and warm!
