The last of the cold – #WeatherRisks and The Big Picture on Tuesday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

It’s looking like a frosty start for many in the South Island, more severe inland and anywhere sheltered.

It’s a frosty start about some North Island regions too, overnight temperatures dropped down into the negatives for many, though the heaviest frosts will be in the South Island.

Shower wise, we see showers peppering the East Coast of the North Island again, and a few snow flurries about – nothing heavy but it will be there.

Check out the big picture below – we’ll try and get a representative graphic as often as we can when there’s several weather features through the day – remember the regions represented are just a guide – for your full regional forecast, head here.
