The high takes hold – Wednesday’s #WeatherRisks & main centre outlook

> From the WeatherWatch archives

It’s looking cool, calm and collected around the country for Wednesday – with a chilly start greeting many in inland parts this morning, before clear and settled weather sets in for the next couple of days.

There aren’t any serious risks around, and nothing like what we had a couple of weeks back for the South Island – frost wise.
Just typical winter frostyness – just part of life at this time of year.

Main Centres

Auckland

Auckland stays mostly clear and sunny with southerly breezes, a bit of cloud and temperatures in the mid teens.

Wellington

Windy Wellington lives up to its name with some gusty southerlies through the day and temperatures in the low double figures, along with a small chance of an isolated shower with the cloud.

Christchurch

Looking nice and clear in Christchurch after a chilly start, a few clouds here and there and temperatures hovering around 10 degrees or so in the afternoon.
