> From the WeatherWatch archives

Temperatures today were mild to warm across the North Island and very pleasant along inland areas of the mainland and out west too. It was a little cooler along eastern areas with some cloud.

Tonight, temperatures will be relatively mild up north with the chance of a shower. Central areas should be dry with a few passing clouds and southern areas will be a tad cool with perhaps some cloud about.

Thursday will bring a similar day to much of the country but winds and cloud should start to build in the far north with some rain possible too.

The maximum temperature today was 29 degrees in Kawerau and the low was 13 at Le Bons Bay.
