Temperatures were generally down a little on yesterday with a southerly delivering a few showers in some areas, particularly in the east.
Tonight it’s likely to be cool in central and southern areas with a few centres south of Wanganui and Manawatu are expected to drop into single figures.
Most of the country on Wednesday should see a sunny and pleasant day, except in the far north where a shower is possible however it appears to be warming up in the south with Central Otago knocking the 30 degree mark and other South Island areas are anticipating a warmer day too.
The top spots around the country today were Kaitaia, Whakatane and Kawerau with 28 degrees and the low was 13 in Darfield.
