Dry over most of the country today but the next 24-48 hours should be anything but!

Rain with heavy falls is expected to affect much of the country beginning tonight in the far north and spreading south tomorrow and still fairly damp in southern areas on Saturday.

It should be very mild and muggy tonight in th north with temperatures remaining in the low 20s.

The top temperature today went to a number of centres with 28 and the low was 14 in Gore
