Aucklands forecast rain failed to deliver however the heat was certainly on.Parts of NZ however had plenty of moisture falling.
Temperatures varied greatly once more with all North Island centres in the 20s and 30s and yet mainland areas were cold in the east and south( more representative of late autumn but the rain was welcome).
Tonight will be very cold in the south with temperatures near freezing in Queenstown and Central Otago but further north, the mercury struggles to go much below 18-20.
Todays maximum temperature was 32 degrees in Auckland and the low was 12 degrees in Dunedin Airport, Gore and Manapouri

Been superhumid and hot in the Mount all day. No sign of the rain yet tho.
Barometer’s been steady about the 80% humidity mark all day.
