The Daily Debrief – Thursday

WeatherWatch.co.nz

> From the WeatherWatch archives

A warm to very warm day across much of the country today with sunshine over more than 70% of the country and winds not too strong but a stiff nor’easter blew along some eastern coastal regions of the mainland.

Temperatures were high in the west, very warm in the north yet again, slightly cooler in the east, lovely and pleasant in central areas and quite comfy in the south!

Tonight appears as if it will be muggy in northern areas but if a shower falls, it might be a little refreshing.

Tomorrow temperatures should climb higher in the east from Gisborne to Otago and perhaps a little cooler in the west of the South Island

The maximum temperature today was 29 in Kaitaia and Wanganui and the low was 18 in Lyttleton
