The Daily Debrief – FRIDAY

WeatherWatch.co.nz

> From the WeatherWatch archives

It’s been a coolish day across the much of the country with just one or two exceptions in the Bay of Plenty and in some west coast areas.

Christchurch suffered through its coldest day of the summer with just 13 degrees.

Tonight will be chilly in central and southern parts of the country with single digit lows expected in many areas and even in northern areas, low to mid teen minimums should be quite common.

Tomorrow, temperatures are expected to be average or a little below, as the cool air remains in the east and south, therefore a little warmer in the north and west!

The highest maximum temperature today went to Whakatane with 28 and the low was 12 in Hanmner Springs, Darfield and Gore.
