The big high continues – Your Main Centre forecast on Wednesday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

The big high over the country isn’t going anywhere fast – but it IS moving – and the second half of the week will offer some weather variety – especially in the South Island.

It’s looking like a mix of sun, cloud and light winds, with a southwest airflow moving towards the country – about to make landfall in the next 48 hours.

Main Centre

Auckland

Cloudy and mostly dry in Auckland, with a fair chance of drizzle first thing and temperatures in the mid 20s.

Wellington

Sunny with light winds – and a high in the early 20s – some morning cloud.

Christchurch

Morning cloud near the coast clears away, as high temperatures roll in with calmer conditions – and a high in the early to mid 20s.
