Expect warmer than average temperatures in the west of both islands today, highs reaching into the mid to late teens. A little cooler in the east especially for the South Island’s east coast with highs in the late single figure arena or low double figures.
Overnight temperatures dipping down to freezing for inland / inland eastern parts of the South Island on Tuesday morning. Average to warm overnight lows for the North Island tonight.
