Overnight tonight and tomorrow marks a period of fairly average conditions temperature wise due to wind and cloud. As you can see with tonights map below temperatures are fairly normal for the time of year, just Auckland northwards may be a little cooler than normal. Mind you, with the windy conditions that can be expected for some (especially the western North Island) wind chill may make it feel a bit unpleasant.
The coldest overnight lows can be expected about Central Otago getting down to 0 to 3 degrees.
As mentioned above temperatures around New Zealand on Wednesday are looking to be fairly average for the time of year. The western North Island especially though Auckland with strong west to southwest winds likely may feel the worse off despite reaching up to 13 to 14 degrees.
