Frosty conditions can be expected again about the inner South Island tonight, especially about Central Otago where lows may drop to -6 degrees in spots. As Phil has mentioned in this mornings story at 10.52am temperatures overnight in the north keep warm due to subtropical conditions.
Not a lot of difference between tomorrow’s day time highs and what we have had today, so remember what today has felt like and that’s how warm (or cold!) it will be tomorrow where you are. The West Coast of the South Island gets a little boost reaching 14 degrees in spots.
