Time to wave goodbye to the hedonistic frosts that have been hanging around for some after the cold blast we had earlier this week. Finally northwesterlies have moved in to bring balance, I would say bring balance to the force but…… oh well, I’ve said it now anyway…
Some ridging and potentially clear skies about the upper North Island tonight brings slightly cooler than normal temperatures Waikato northwards, frosts are not expected though. Lows get down to about 4 or 5 degrees overnight for the Waikato. Tonight’s warmest low will be Wellington on 13 or perhaps 12 degrees.
Temperatures in the high teens or early twenties across New Zealand on Saturday, the warmest temperatures will be somewhere in the east of the country during the day. Greymouth southwards gets the coolest temperatures ranging between 13 and 15 degrees,
