This week WeatherWatch.co.nz was approached by a PhD student who has created a survey about Volcanic Hazard Mapping.
GNS Science also tweeted Danielle Charlton’s survey – inviting people to take part in it.
There are many different types of maps and each person has their own preferences on what information they want displayed.
This survey wants to know what information is important to you and how you would use it.
The survey will take between 5-10 minutes to complete. The findings will not directly influence the hazard maps in your local area, but will go towards a general study on hazard map preferences globally.
Danielle is on twitter as https://twitter.com/hazardgirl09 and is based in the UK if you would like to know more about this.
