Sunny, warm, week for most

> From the WeatherWatch archives

WeatherWatch.co.nz is predicting the run of sunny weather will continue across this week as a large high remains to hold firm over us.

But how much longer will it last?

The high is likely to remain in place for most of the week meaning Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will be sunny and calm.

Towards the end of the week the high will start to shift off the South Island and WeatherWatch.co.nz predicts winds will pick up a little across Southland and Otago with a low risk of showers in Southland at the end of the week.

It’s likely cloudy weather will also move in to western New Zealand on Friday – with showers moving in on Saturday.  The east should stay dry and mostly sunny all week.

So a good working week ahead – but the weekend may not be as flash as the days before it.

Yesterday I felt the warmth whilst walking on the ground. Bean planting on the 9th 🙂 Thanks Ken Ring.
