Sunday’s National Forecast sees high pressure system right over NZ

> From the WeatherWatch archives

It’s hard to remember the last time a large high stretched right across the country but that is the current set up for all of New Zealand.

A fairly simple forecast today!

All of New Zealand:
Early frosts, heavy through inland areas – especially in the South Island. A mostly Sunny day for most regions with mainly light, variable, winds. Some cloudy areas possible around some coastal regions.
Highs: 9 to 14 (but just 4 or so for some central/inland South Island areas after heavy frosts this morning)
