Easterly winds will continue to pick up across northern NZ as low pressure in the sub-tropics drifts our way.
Clouds will increase in Northland, Auckland and the upper North Island with a few showers in eastern Northland.
High pressure lies out to the east of NZ and keeps many other regions mostly settled.
We’ll have more maps and details later this morning on the incoming rain in the days ahead.
