An anticyclone provides mostly calm/settled weather across New Zealand today. There may be some cloudy areas, especially in the west and some morning cloud or even fog in some places.

Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Cloudy areas in the west and around Auckland, sunniest in the east, inland and BOP. A mild afternoon.
Highs: 17-19

Western North Island (including Central North Island)

Coastal clouds and sunny inland. A cold start but a mild afternoon.

Highs: 16-18

Eastern North Island

Sunny, light winds.
Highs: 16-18

Wellington

Mostly Sunny with light winds.

High: 16

Marlborough & Nelson

Mostly sunny with light winds.

High: 16-18

Canterbury

Sunny with light winds. May be an early frost inland near/through the mountains.

Highs: 14-17

West Coast

A mix of sun and cloud.

Highs: 16 or 17

Southland & Otago

A mix of sun and cloud.
Highs: 15-17
