Upper North Island

Cloudy areas and occasional sun, southwest breezes.

Lower North Island

Cloudy periods in the west with westerly breezes, mostly sunny along the east coast with light winds.

Upper South Island

Mostly sunny about the top of the South Island and about Marlborough and Canterbury, just a touch of high cloud at times. Light winds. North Westland is fairly cloudy with northwesterly winds, chance of a light shower at times.

Lower South Island

Cloudy for South Westland with the odd shower then some rain from afternoon, northerly winds. Southland and Otago see areas of high cloud with northerly breezes.
