Sunday’s national forecast

> From the WeatherWatch archives

We will find ourselves in between weather systems today.  We will have the low off to our east and the high off to our west.

For most of us, it should be a dry and settled day.  For some though, it could be a rather wet day.

The best chance for rain looks to be across the coastal regions of Southland and Otago today.  The West Coast could see a few showers later today or this evening.  The rest of the South Island is looking at a mainly sunny day with highs in the low to mid teens.

A mainly sunny day is also expected for the North Island.  No rain is expected anywhere on the island except for a slight chance for a few rogue showers about Auckland late day.  High today will range from around 12 to 16.
