Upper North Island

Mostly sunny with southeasterly breezes, some high
cloud possible.

Lower North Island

Sunny with light winds, chance of a morning frost in inland sheltered areas. Mostly sunny for the Wairarapa however further north about Hawkes Bay and Gisborne expect cloudy periods with southerly winds and the odd shower.

Upper South Island

Sunny with light winds, frosty morning and night in sheltered areas, especially
inland.

Lower South Island

Sunny with light winds, frosty morning and night in sheltered areas, especially inland. Coastal Southland however sees cloudy periods and westerly winds, low chance of the odd shower at times.
