Sunday’s national forecast

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Most of us will see one more day of quiet and settled weather thanks to the ridge of high pressure that’s been around all week.

However, that’s not the case for everyone.

Northland, Auckland, Gisborne and Hawkes Bay could see a few showers thanks to the persistent onshore flow.  Northland and Auckland could also see some rather breezy conditions.

As far as the rest of the country is concerned, look for a mix of sun and clouds for most areas.  Mainly cloudy skies are expected for the southern North Island and the upper part of the South Island.

Highs today will be in the upper teens to lower 20’s.
