Sunday – Your reports

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Sunday is looking patchy across the country and reports of rain and some heavy falls have come into WeatherWatch so far today however not everywhere is seeing the damp stuff and how are conditions around you at the moment?

The forecast isn’t perhaps ideal for some spots but it seems the South Island has been drier overall across the last 12 hours.

We’d love to hear from you if it’s warm or a little chilly or even sunny, cloudy, windy or a tad wet.

What happened last night and are conditions different now compared to when you first got up?

Now one person commented that their neighbours woke them up with the sound of the lawnmower  going at 9 o’clock this morning – Isn’t this June?… well somebody is obviously keen!

We always appreciate our roving reporters as it seems the weather is quite variable across the country so far today.

if it wasn’t winter, it would be a nice autumn day – dead still , sunshine getting thru some cloud – far from unpleasant !

Rained heavily here in Taupo between about 11am and 1pm, after 1pm turned into scattered lighter rain. The Temp seems to have gone though as the day has progressed though, started off on around 10.5 – 11.00 deg this morning, now down to 8.5 deg as of 3pm. In 5 words – cold, grey, wet and miserable !

Whangarei overnight was rainy, not sure how much but that changed to sunny skies for a while, but in the last hour or so we have showers coming through and sunshine patches. rather mild around 15 degrees.
Mowing the meadow is off the plan.
