Thank goodness the warmer/hot temperatures are over, well I hope so. I prefer this sort of weather (suuny days and temps in the low to mid 20s)rather than the 30C to 36C temperatures we got recently. The recent rain was very welcomed here.

The last 3 or 4 days here in Christchurch have really made me feel the cold. The temperatures have been only half of what they normally are. Infact our overnight lows from last week have bene our highs these last few days. The winds have been bone chilling!! That annoying NE is picking up giving a rather cool feeling once again. It doesnt seem like its going to be warm again in the nearby future….summers maybe on the way out? Id rather have a week of 34 degree days than a week of 16-18 degree days!!!
