It’s been a real mixed bag of weather so far today.
The day has started off with a mix of sun and clouds for many areas. In Auckland, showery low clouds and patches of blue have shared the sky.
In Pirongia, there’s been bright sunshine woven in between periods of showers, including some brief heavy showers.
From Greymouth, WeatherWatch.co.nz reader Jacqui Moreton reported thunder early this morning.
