No matter how you look at it we are now in spring – usually the time of the year with strong westerlies – however for the past 10 to 14 days many areas have had easterlies.

But on the 1st day of October back comes the westerly wind flow – maybe rising right up to gale force over the South Island on Sunday – definitely one to watch.
