There’s a strange set up for showers in one part of the country this morning.
While frosty conditions are in Taranaki to the west and Manawatu just to the east a strange thin strip of showers is being fed into Wanganui keeping the area frost free…even if it is only 2 degrees.
Elsewhere showers have cleared Auckland earlier than we first thought. They will clear Northland this morning along with Wellington and the North Island’s east coast.
In the South Island just a few light showers remain about Southland.
