Sevens weather in the capital

> From the WeatherWatch archives

The weather tomorrow and on Saturday in the capital is looking like it will play ball for the Sevens tournament which kicks off in Wellington tomorrow at 1pm.

Friday sees sunny skies with northerly breezes and temperatures reaching between 22 and 24 degrees, northerlies may pick up a little in the afternoon however it looks like it will be a good day out.

Saturday is pretty much a repeat with temperatures in a similar range, however northerly breezes will be a little brisker perhaps even gusty at times. The Cake Tin should provide some shelter from the wind however it could swirl about a little in there, it may only be a concern to the players on the field versus the party people in attendance.

Here’s looking forward to a great tournament, go New Zealand!
