Another moderately strong earthquake has hit the White Island region – the second in less than a week.
The quake struck at 3:08pm yesterday at a depth of just 12kms says GeoNet.
The earthquake measured 4.5 on the Richter Scale and was located 100 kms north of White Island, or
120 km east of Whitianga.
It was felt on Great Barrier Island.
